Phillip Island Nature Parks is Australia's most popular wildlife attraction incorporating the Penguin Parade, Koala Conservation Centre and historic Churchill Island.
The research department at the Park conducts research on penguins, seals, seabirds and shorebirds.
The Park's Research Department is seeking a full-time technical assistant to support field data collection and data processing. The successful candidate will possess a higher degree, preferably a BSc or equivalent, combined with relevant experience and training.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate a good level of physical fitness and be prepared to undertake field trips of up to a week's duration on remote islands.
Employment will be under the Phillip Island Nature Park's work-place agreement, and will be classed as Band 2 - Research Support.
