Internship Title: Child-Donkey Interactions: What Behaviors Are Displayed by Children?
Internship Summary:
The student will focus on analyzing pre-recorded videos of child-donkey
interactions using The Observer (Noldus) software. The goal is to understand
the behaviors expressed by children in interaction with donkeys.
Context:
Based in the Animal Physiology and Behaviour Reseach Unit in Italy, this project is a collaborative project
between the Italian laboratory and the Ethos laboratory in France. Virtual
meetings with the French team and on-site meetings with the Italian team will
be organized. Currently, no financial support is available for the student. Funding
requests are in progress.
Required Skills:
- Interest in ethological research.
- Strong writing and statistical analysis skills.
- Good level of English.
- Experience with The Observer software is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- 35 hours per week.
- Work conditions as defined by the University internship agreement.
