We have a NERC doctoral training partnership studentship
available on the role of the skin microbiome in primate communication
and we’re keen to recruit a good candidate.
The project combines microbial and behavioural ecology to examine key questions in animal behaviour, including how animals recognise kin, how they identify potential mates, and the costs and benefits of sociality. The full details are here, with links to the wider competition: https://www.iapetus2.ac.uk/studentships/mandrills-and-microbes-the-role-of-the-skin-microbiome-in-primate-communication/
