The Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering at TCD invites applications for a PhD student to work on the Environment and Climate Change: Impacts and Responses project funded by the Higher Education Authority PRTLI 4 Programme. The project involves collaboration between a number of Irish Universities Institutions: TCD, NUIG, UCC, NUIM, QUB, UL, CIT, Met Eireann and the Finnish Centre of Excellence.
The PhD project will be in the area of air dispersion modelling. Applicants with good honours degrees in civil engineering, environmental science, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, physics, statistics, economics, psychology and related disciplines will be considered.
Funding Notes
Funding the project is sufficient to cover a student stipend of approximately €14,000 per year and EU fees
