Brief background Tier3 solutions GmbH is a company based in Germany which offers wildlife studies following the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Standard (BPL: Bonnes Pratiques de Laboratoire). This field season we are planning a study on rabbits in the department of the north of France. The objective of the study is to investigate by an appropriate design any possible adverse effects on individual rabbits and on the rabbit populations exposed under realistic conditions in grasslands to an herbicide used in France. The data will be used to renew the registration of a product. 

Job description 
The working tasks will include placing, checking live traps, collect data from GPS collars and PIT readers in the fields, data entry and check. The workload from mid-June to mid-September is to collect the data from the PIT readers in the fields and replace the batteries. We are working six days a week for approximately 8 hours a day. Working schedule and workload need to stay flexible, depending on the field activities and field conditions. Payment is €125 per day, plus travel expenses to/from field location. An accommodation close to the study fields is organized and paid by the company.  

Personal requirements 
 The ideal candidate has experience with field work. Working for many hours outside under sometimes harsh weather conditions should be acceptable. The candidate should work independently but also show flexibility in working as part of an international team. Good command of written/spoken English and a full driving license are necessary and required. Knowledge for mammals and GLP are a plus.
