Funded PhD and postdoctoral positions available

 The Department of Ecology and Environmental Science at Umeå University (Sweden) is recruiting multiple PhD students and one postdoctoral researcher to join a study investigating the effects of environmental contaminants on animal behavior. This project will use acoustic monitoring and soundscape analysis to evaluate the extent to which emerging contaminants might affect terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, with a focus on soil and water invertebrates. The successful applicant is expected to have a background in bioacoustics and soundscape analysis or should have relevant experience studying animal behavior, toxicology, and/or acoustic sensor development.
