Label SFECA - Appel à candidature
Appel à
candidatures
La SFECA met en place au plan
national un « label SFECA» assurant qu’une personne installée en tant
que comportementaliste ait acquis les pré-requis indispensables à l’exercice de
son activité en France.
Cette démarche s’apparente à la
certification en vigueur au Royaume-Uni qui est assurée par The Association for
the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB). La SFECA a souhaité suivre la voie de
l’ASAB afin que ces professionnels du comportement animal possèdent toutes les
compétences nécessaires pour venir en aide aux propriétaires d’animaux
présentant des troubles du comportement et pour offrir aux propriétaires
d’animaux une possibilité de recours en cas de litige. D’autres pays européens
s’engagent également dans cette démarche.
Ce label SFECA ne constitue pas un diplôme mais
l’assurance que le professionnel qui se verra attribuer un tel label est un
« comportementaliste » reconnu qui possède des bases théoriques et
une expérience pratique en éthologie qui lui permettent d’exercer son activité
de manière adaptée. Les professionnels concernés sont ceux dont l'activité
concerne l'évaluation, l'activité de conseil, la médiation et/ou la prise en
charge de désordres comportementaux exprimés par des animaux, dans le contexte
des interactions Homme-animal ou animal-animal. Les comportementalistes
labélisés s’engagent à adhérer aux principes énoncés dans la charte des
comportementalistes SFECA.
Ce label SFECA est attribué pour une période de 4 ans
par un comité de labellisation. Le comité réceptionne les dossiers de
candidature fournis par les candidats, les évalue, est responsable du suivi des
dossiers labellisés, et gère les éventuels conflits. Il a également en charge
les entretiens oraux des candidats, conduits au moins lors de la première
candidature de ces derniers. Le comité assure aussi l’examen du renouvellement
du label.
Modalités
pour l’année 2014 :
Les
dossiers de candidature doivent être envoyés à la Présidente de la SFECA, Odile
Petit (odile.petit@iphc.cnrs.fr),
pour le 1er février 2014 au plus tard.
Les
candidats seront informés des dates d’audition début avril 2014 et les
auditions se dérouleront à Paris en mai 2014 pour une attribution du label en
juin 2014.
Les
candidats qui ne possèdent pas les pré-requis nécessaires à l’obtention du
label, pourront se voir attribuer un label provisoire ou proposer des pistes de
formation complémentaires par le comité de labellisation.

There is no set theme for the
meeting, but plenary speakers will include:

CNRS Montpellier
The cost will be £100
(includes reception, coffee/tea and lunch) plus £25 for the 3 course banquet on
Saturday night.

Ph.D Studentship: Parental influence on fish behaviour and physiology
Nature versus
nurture in coping with environmental change: the importance of early life
experience and parental influence on fish behaviour and physiology
This studentship will investigate the extent to which adverse environmental
conditions experienced by either the parents or progeny determine phenotype in
fish, and the mechanisms by which this occurs. Particular emphasis will be
given to the role played by the neuroendocrine stress axis in this context and
how key behavioural traits such as foraging, predator avoidance and
reproductive behaviour might be altered by early exposure to environmental
stressors in sticklebacks.
This studentship is part of a new NERC Doctoral Training Partnership in
"Adapting to the Challenges of a Changing Environment" (ACCE).
