I am
advertising an open post-doc position, up to four years quite well funded, with
an open research topic, at Dept. of Cognitive Biology at the University of
Vienna. We are a highly international group pursuing a rather wide range of
topics, from the physics of vocal production to neuroscience (brain imaging) to
aesthetics and music perception.
I am
looking for candidates with a strong quantitative background and a good
publication record, but my main criterion is scientific excellence. There are opportunities, but no requirements,
for teaching (in English).
My lab and
our entire department run in English, so German is not required. The deadline is March 1.
