Human Behaviour & Evolution Society (HBES), 2011. June, 29 th – July, 3 rd 2011. Montpellier, France.
The HBES Annual Meeting regularly attracts a diverse group of researchers, including anthropologists, economists, legal scholars, psychologists, primatologists, political scientists, biologists, behavioral ecologists, physicians, and humanities scholars. This year’s lineup of speakers reflects this diversity. The conference Keynote Address will be presented by Randy Nesse, the co-founder of darwinian medicine. Our Plenary Speakers include economist Samuel Bowles, anthropologist and primatologist Sarah Hrdy; linguist Jean-Marie Hombert, biologist Tim Clutton-Brock, anthropologist Frank Marlowe, developmental psychologist Andrew Whiten. HBES membership is worldwide. In addition to the North American universities that have traditionally hosted HBES, recent meetings have been held in London, Berlin, and Kyoto.

Le colloque annuel HBES réunit régulièrement des chercheurs d’origines diverses, dont des anthropologistes, économistes, chercheurs en droit, psychologistes, primatologues, biologistes, comportementalistes, médecins, et chercheurs en sciences humaines et en sciences politiques. Le panel de cette année reflète parfaitement cette diversité. La conférence “Keynote” va être présentée par Randy Nesse, sur la médecine darwinienne. Les conférences plénières vont être données par l’économiste Samuel Bowles, l’anthropologiste et primatologiste Sarah Hrdy; le linguiste Jean-Marie Hombert, le biologiste Tim Clutton-Brock, l’anthropologist Frank Marlowe, et le psychologiste du développement Andrew Whiten. La société HBES est internationale. Les conférences HBES ont traditionnellement lieu dans les universités américaines, mais elles se sont déjà produites à Londres, Berlin et Kyoto.
