The full-time behavior technician will be responsible for overseeing behavioral management of nonhuman primates (NHP), including performing social introductions (either pairs or groups of NHP), monitor socially housed NHPs for compatibility, assessing behavioral needs of NHPs and providing appropriate enrichment, assisting with program utilizing operant conditioning to cooperate with husbandry and research procedures; contribute to the design and implementation of research devotes to psychological well-being methods; data collection, entry, and analysis; responsible for specific phases of research projects; review the literature and regulatory sources to evaluate and recommend implementation of psychological well-being plans and protocols.
