Field assistant position with Barbary macaques 2023
The project will combine behavioral observations and field experiments. Data collection will be carried out at 'La Forêt des Singes' in Rocamadour, France, and will take place from March to June 2023, i.e. 4 months. We are looking for someone who is interested in animal behavior, wishes to gain experience in behavioral data collection, and wants to work with these very cool monkeys. Some knowledge of French would be an advantage but not a necessity.
Notes: preference will be given to applicants who do not hold a Master degree yet. This is a paid position, travel from within Europe is covered, housing is offered, and preference will be given to EU student for bureaucratic reasons.
Message me for more info, or to send in your application (CV + cover letter). Looking forward to hearing from you!
