GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- University Degree in Veterinary Medicine
- 1 year experience in small animal practice
- Veterinary experience with zoo animals or wildlife rehabilitation
- Basic surgery skills
- Spanish as native language would be ideal but if you only speak English then a willingness to learn
Spanish would be expected.
- Availability for minimum 3 months and maximum 6 months
- Driver´s license (ideally)
MAIN TASKS:
- Assist in daily work with the veterinary team at the rescue center
- Assist on emergencies outside the rescue center
- Assist in emergencies at night and early morning
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :
- This is a voluntary position – you will need to provide flights to Costa Rica.
- If you complete 6 months successfully we will refund your flight cost.
- We will provide an excellent private room at the rescue center with ensuite bathroom and balcony overlooking the pacific
- Vaccine protocol will be asked for after the interview
