Masters Internship on leopard censusing and predation on chimpanzees

 We are offering a Master's internship on leopard censusing and predation on chimpanzees.

The successful candidate would join The Great Ape Social Mind Lab, CNRS Institute for Cognitive Sciences, Bron, Lyon.

It would involve some months in the Tai National Park, Ivory Coast, setting up and analysing camera trap data on leopard occurrences, and might include collating long-term data on chimpanzee injuries.

It requires a mature person who is interested in working relatively independently during the data collection period, is comfortable with very remote and basic living conditions, and enjoys hiking kilometers through tropical rain forest each day. The start date is flexible.
