Teaching Fellow in Animal Behaviour and Psychology

This new full-time post is available from September 2010 on a fixed term basis until August 2011.

We are seeking a Teaching Fellow to join us as a member of the School of Psychology in the College of Life and Environmental Sciences.

The postholder will have the opportunity to make use of our state of the art laboratory facilities, and will carry out teaching and administrative duties within the Animal Behaviour Group and the School of Psychology, including supervising MSc and undergraduate projects in the postholder’s area of interest, convening lecture courses and seminars modules at the undergraduate and MSc level, helping on a field course, running tutorial groups, and supporting the Programme Director for the BSc and MSc in Animal Behaviour.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in Psychology or Animal Behaviour and previous experience of teaching and administration in a related subject area.

The starting salary will be £31,671 on a scale rising to £35,646 on Grade F, depending on qualifications and experience.
