MSc and PhD Positions: Dairy Calf Behavior and Welfare

The Animal Behavior and Welfare Lab (https://animalwelfare.utk.edu) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is seeking one PhD and one MS student to work with Dr. Blair Downey, beginning January 2024. Students will conduct novel research on the effects of early life management on dairy cattle behavior and welfare, with a key focus on abnormal behavior, social dynamics, and cognition. A competitive annual stipend, benefits, and tuition waiver will be provided.
