Le groupe de Wild Cognition à Exeter cherche des stagiaires pour des projets sur les choucas au printemps https://www.wildcognitionresearch.com/. "I will be conducting experiments broadly on social networks and social information use through RFID feeders, with a particular focus on learning from and about others. The specific plans are still under development. For instance, one idea that I currently have is to test whether juveniles form social associations with their parents depending on the information that parents can provide. There would also be scope for a lot of projects on social networks using both existing and new data. I am building a longer-term dataset on social networks (currently 5 years) to test various ideas, from social ageing to whether birds form long-term friendships. Anyone interested in sociality and cognition should hopefully be able to do a project with me that they could enjoy. There is also a PhD student planning to conduct experiments on vocal communication in response to predators, using taxidermic models."
