Position Description:
I am currently in Pacoche, Ecuador, developing a preliminar survey on the primates of the area, as there is no previous information available. We are looking for antusiatic, motivated and fit people that would enjoy spending some time in the jungle.
The project has been conducted since 15/04/12 and will be running until the 31/05/12. Volunteers are urgently needed
You would be workinh from Monday to Friday (7.30-4pm). Most of the day will be spent walking and observing the monkeys.
There two species of primates: Alouatta palliata and Cebus albifrons and this project will enhance the knowledge about them in the area.
Aditionally we are assessing the effect of the anthropogenic impact on their populations.
Qualifications/Experience:
No previous experience is requiered.
Salary/funding:
No salary is provided.
Support provided for internship/volunteer positions (travel, meals, lodging):
Accommodation and most of the meals will be covered by the organization.
