Living in a challenging world: Wild bird and bee cognitive and behavioural ecology in contrasted environments

Global warming and anthropogenic activity are rapidly changing natural environments. If you want to better understand how wild birds and bumblebee deal (or not) with those rapid changes using cognitive abilities and life history strategies, join us in the French Pyrenees for an exiting internship in a beautiful natural place!  We welcome all kind of students for bachelor, cesure or master internship (M1,M2).  You will participate to one of our field or experimental project happening from October to July. If you are interested in banding birds and running cognitive and behavioural tasks in aviaries or in the wild you should come in fall or winter. If you are mainly interested in life history strategies or bumblebees you should plan to come in spring. We are looking for highly motivated students, able to support long days of fieldwork under any weather but also to spend hours analysing videos. If you apply for a M1 or M2 internship good knowledge in R is a plus. Accommodation on site costs 150euros by month.  To apply send a CV and a short email showing your motivation tomcauchoixxx@gmail.com.
