Would you like to volunteer in Kenya or Uganda to produce digital video, conservation websites or educational materials, or to take part in unique research?

Do you want to make a real difference helping to support primate sanctuaries, conservation organisations, and their surrounding communities?

The Great Primate Handshake is a not-for-profit conservation awareness tour of Africa that aims, through the production of digital media, to raise awareness of primate conservation programmes & sanctuaries.

No previous experience is required, as full training and equipment will be provided; you just need a desire to make a difference to the world of primate conservation.

2012 expeditions will be taking place in Kenya from July 17th to August 13th, and Uganda from August 21st to September 17th.

Utilising an overland vehicle as a mobile production unit, volunteers will learn to produce the video, internet and education content necessary to support primate sanctuaries into the future whilst experiencing Africa’s breathtaking landscapes.

The cost of a 28 day expedition in Kenya or Uganda is £1,800. This includes all food, accommodation & equipment use.
