Graduate Student Position available: Dairy calf welfare

A PhD graduate student position is available for a student to work on a project investigating dairy calf welfare with automated calf feeders on farms. Qualifications include interest in animal welfare research and in the dairy industry, strong organization and writing skills, team player, livestock experience, and computer skills. The project is supported by a USDA grant for 3 years. Expected start date is summer or fall 2012. Graduate students would enroll in the Department of Animal Science program.
