The candidate should have
• A PhD degree in animal science or veterinary science with focus on animal behavior.
• Statistical and analytical skills.
• Experience in the design, planning and completion of experimental studies with poultry, preferably broilers/broiler breeders.
• Good writing skills (English).
The place of employment is Aarhus University, and the place of work is Science and Technology, Blichers Allé 20, 8830 Tjele, Denmark.
Department of Animal Science (ANIS) is located at the AU Foulum campus near Viborg. ANIS provides a very dynamic and internationally orientated environment with strong collaborations with relevant industrial partners and with several other leading international research groups in the area.

Appointment shall be in accordance with the collective labour agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. Salary depends on seniority as agreed between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Confederation of Professional Associations.
