Post-doc position
A highly motivated post-doctoral fellow is needed for
a project entitled: The effects of secondary metabolites in nectar on
pollinators of crops. This research will take place at the Department of Fruit Tree Sciences, Agricultural Research
Organization, Volcani Center, Israel and the University of Haifa at Oranim,
Israel. The candidate should have a strong background in behavioral ecology
ideally using bees and birds (like hummingbirds and sunbirds) as model systems
and experience in chemical ecology is desirable but not a must. The project
involves basic and applied aspects. The preferred candidate will be a post doc
who is capable of developing an innovating research line within the scope of
the proposed research. The selected candidate should be or become a leader in
her/his field, and have excellent communication and writing skills. If you are
