The selected candidate will be expected to go in the field to capture their study subjects. Key points: • PhD-level stipend provided for 4 years • Cognitive testing in a captive setting (primary focus) and fieldwork (secondary) Requirements: • BSc in biology or a related discipline completed by Dec 2023 or August 2024, depending on start date • Driver’s licence (minimum Class 5 or equivalent) • Strong work ethic Assets: • Bird handling experience • MSc or other related research experience Indigenous, visible minorities, first-generation students and women applicants are especially encouraged to apply.
