Applications are invited for up to two fully funded full-time PhD studentships in Psychology at the University of Portsmouth. Applications are welcomed in any area complementing our existing research activities including Comparative and Evolutionary Psychology

Entrance Qualifications:
Applicants will have a Bachelors degree in Psychology or a related discipline (minimum 2.1 or equivalent). Preference may be given to applicants with a Masters (or equivalent) with a research component or a first class Bachelors degree. Tuition / Fees:
Tution fees covered by the studentship.

Support (scholarships, travel):
The studentships will be funded for three years and include tuition fees and a maintenance grant (£13,290 in 2010/11. 2011/12 grant amount to be confirmed).
Support provided for internship/volunteer positions (travel, meals, lodging): Students will also receive £1000 per year for research and conference expenses, as well as office space and personal computing facilities.
