Position Description:
We are seeking for highly motivated applicants for a Ph.D. student position in behavioral biology to join our lab in January 2021. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop a project on male reproductive ecology in mantled howler monkeys (Alouatta palliata mexicana), using behavioral and physiological data collected from free-ranging individuals.
Qualifications/Experience:
Applicants should possess a solid understanding of evolutionally theory as well as basic knowledge on the principles of primate behavior, reproduction, and physiology. Prior research experience in behavioral biology, including fieldwork with wildlife, is desirable.

Salary/funding:
Students that are accepted in the Ph.D. program receive a monthly salary for 4 years.
