The position will incorporate a mix of teaching, research, outreach, and academic service responsibilities. The teaching responsibilities involve delivering comprehensive, speciesspanning animal welfare and behavior education throughout our professional veterinary curriculum. This includes the design and development of animal welfare course content, courses, and mentoring students in animal welfare projects. The role also entails advising our veterinary student team in the Intercollegiate Animal Welfare Judging and Assessment Contest. The research duties are to conduct independent and/or collaborative research that is relevant to the college and our stakeholders and becomes recognized both nationally and internationally for its contributions to advancing animal welfare.
